Sliding glass doors also offer a way to get that coveted indoor/outdoor feel! Opening a sliding door allows air and sunshine in and makes it easy to navigate from an indoor space into an outdoor space. The drawbacks to sliding glass doors are that older models often are difficult to open and fall off track. Sliding glass door replacement is great for growing families. Newer glass doors are easier for both adults and children to open. The average cost is around $2,500 to $5,000, but the investment is worth it.
